This airflow is directed through the curve of the machine, passing through the Streamlined flow heater which is positioned in the curve – to streamline and evenly heat the airflow to deliver precision via the Intelligent attachments. The Intelligent heat control technology within the machine ensures temperature is maintained consistently to prevent exposure to extreme heat.
The Intelligent attachments work by having an RFID chip engineered into the machine, so when connected, instantly recognises which attachment has been chosen. The Intelligent attachment then adapts to the exact temperature and airflow needed for optimal performance, preset by styling experts. If you wish to adapt from the preset, the Intelligent attachments still provide a temperature and airflow ranging to ensure you get the best performance.
If the maintenance is required to clean or care for the machine, the LED lights will communicate this.

No. Each Intelligent attachment has been engineered specifically for the Dyson Supersonic r™, from the shape of the machine, to the expert presets programmed into each Intelligent attachment. Attachments from the previous Supersonic™ hair dryer won’t fit.
